if you are folding a stack as short as this on river then don't call the turn in the first place

i myself perhaps should have raised it to the full stack but i wasted a lot of time thinking about weather or not the call would be made given how dry the board so was unable to get the chance of doing it and as i didn't want to fold by being timed out.

    maybe i should have donked the turn or perhaps check called then jammed the river.

    I agree mostly. However if he has  OESD on turn and semi-bluffs at it he is getting 4:1 to call your reraise. So if this is the case, why would he toss the last £2.00 away when he knows he is likely very, very beat? Might be unlikely given preflop action, but hard to say if he is fairly loose. SImilar if he is fairly loose and had a gutshot and missed.

    i can understand if they are loose aggressive but i wouldn't consider this player to fall into that catagory because when he did an open raise and got 2 callers on a flop that came Qc6d6s he just checked then on the turn a 9s i decided to bet 40p with As10s and the same guy folded.

    Big difference in the hand you are talkign about here and the one posted. In this hand he open raised, got TWO callers and was OOP. It means bluffing is less of a good idea. In your original one you checked the flop and so no reason he wouldn't think to try and bluff you off it with air. If then ont he turn he picks up an OESD then it is as I said. Not saying this is what happened, just that it could be what happened. And to be honest it is the only thing that would make sense to me for him to fold the last 2 quid after that line.

    To be honest I'd have raised 20p more preflop and put him all in with the C/R on turn. No point giving him odds for draw with that little behind. Just put him all-in, and I wonder if you checked his stack size given the min-r size?
