Pudding's Tourny Adventure

Hello fellow poker peeps

I hope that your games last night or today were & have been good fun and perhaps a little fruitful.

Today is another tourny, I haven't decided which, but I will update as I go along. I am a chatter - I can't help myself :-)

I had a super tourny last night, played the 23.15 Deep Stack and came 10th. The bubble was in sight, and I dare say had I persisted and not allowed my fatigue to take over at 02.15, I would have done better - I am not suggesting a win, or even in the bubble, but better than 10th.

So today's challenge is to see how well I can do in an other tourny. Hoping to do as well as last night is obvious, but 9th would be good too.

Playing the MMT's is a whole other world from DYM and might I say fair more helpful, friendlier and fun. I had the pleasure of chatting to some lovely players - there were of course those who wouldn't chat, or wanted to concentrate on the action (all understandable). But never was a bad word said, no malice, jibs or mocking. Mutual respect was key.

So, on with today's Pudding's Tourny Adventure..................

Best of luck in whichever tourny you choose.  If you can't have good luck then I hope you have a great time anyway :)

The 16.20 Deep Stack seems like a good place to start today. Wish me luck - and I'll let you how I get on :-)

In Response to Re: Pudding's Tourny Adventure: The bad beat on the river is always the worst, but a bad beat is a good win for someone else, highs and lows - and they are just how poker goes. Thank you for your message x

Ahhh the good old RVD.  I know it well and it's one of my favourite little tournies.  Best of luck in it and I may join you in it

From your winnings from the 4.20, try out the 7.15pm Deepy (£2.20) or the 7.45pm Deepy (£1.10) Both 5000 starting chips, and plenty of play.

Good luck, and I have replied to you on your other thread about finding out the result from last night.

Oh dear - it was going so well. Chip leader, knocked to 3rd and now just in the middle somewhere. Couple of bad bets and too much gun ho-ing.

    Poo!

Holding my own at the 5000 mark (short stack and then some), playing tight, which I find frustrating, but tight is better than crashing out.

Seen some awesome plays, some huge pots and one that almost had me hyperventilating. Poker is such good fun!

WD to all the players who played and are playing in the 16.20. Good Game!

Fingers crossed I can have a couple pots to boost my tally and get into the top 5 - that would be so fantastic!

Back to the felt I go :)
