He had only just sat at the table, messed about before with him but no real notes except can be slightly tilty, however he had just sat down!

Factors in my decision.. I check turn for pot control with the thoughts on 1. if he bets, speed of bet and size.. and it felt like to me it was a steal / bluff with outs!

Call to see river which is blank.. I feel i have to call shove? All draws missed - if he has a set then fair enough - but he just snap shoved river.. which was more suspicious!

If I call -  is it a bad one?

I'm not sure I call there to be honest... Jimbo is the sort of player I'd give credit to in the main so would think sets, J9 or two pair hands make up most, if not all, of his range... and I'm not convinced he'd shove river as a bluff as opposed to potting it and saving at least a bit if it's a total airball.

Who knows though, perhaps you're right and he'd just added this table after getting beat up somewhere else and playing on tilt :)

Really close but I think a river call is pretty good. I assume villain would raise sets/2PR a high % of the time on the flop. You also block J9 and don't block the missed FD. NH :)

    Bah! I remember this one.

This was during 40 minutes of maniac play. Im experimenting a bit at nl20 after building back up my roll to 1kish through tournaments after a failed nl10 challenge. Been up and (mostly)down but its very similar to nl10. Nothing too scary.

After the smallish flop bet and turn chk-call I put you on a mid-ace and since my 10 was no good just decided to bomb you off it if showed any weakness on the river. Nice hand  :)

I would have called. Sets and two pairs are almost always raising flop and betting bigger turn on such a wet board.

I would have maybe given credit to a shove that took their time to think. Snap decisions are usually ones that have been made earlier or a draw that has missed.
