Reads here are that AC is my mate and plays a wiiiiiiiidddddeee open range from all positions.

On the turn should I already be thinking about folding?

One of the first lessons I learnt in poker was never chase a flush or str8 on a paired board. I am probably losing some value by not doing it but it stops me from ending up in situations like this were we are happy that we have made our hand and then get a smack in the face when we were already beat.

By the time the turn comes you're only beating a bluff, it's a paired board and you have a poor kicker with your K and a player re raising you. If you call and hit your heart on the river it may be no good so if you call on the turn you really only want to see a king on the river to be confident

Now you said the villain is wild and I can see why you felt your hand could be good against such a player but just because they may be wild doesn't mean they never have it

Put it down to a lesson learned the hard way

Yep, at least you didn't reraise him on the river, so saved yourself a bit there.

IMO its a fold pre, what we hoping to hit kk7 board ? even when we hit our king we dont really know where we are as we have a weak kicker, surley just calling is a massive leak ?
