Bigger buyin Tournaments

I see and hear a lot of people asking for bigger buyin tournaments on sky, so i thought i would start a topic on it.

 Please leave a comment if you agree, im only talking about 10-50 buyins maybe a weekly 100, but these tournaments need to have a guarenteed buyin, there is no point putting a regular £10 trny, nobody enters them, i GUARENTEE if these become regular you will see interest build up again in sky!!

 Also you hear the presenters talking about how much better the players have got, so lets have bigger tournaments to show that!!!

 All in favor say I

    As long as they have a decent structure ie 3000 to 5000 chips and 12 to 15 min blinds sowe can get some decent play for our cash.

    I think a monthly £300 torny would be good and if they ran sattellites each week you would get alot of interest I think, I personally don't play the sky mtt's much as I find them more luck than skill the structure is too fast and shallow but this will suit the players that just play for fun.

    A monthly High Buy-in with lots of 1 in 5 and 1 in 10 sats to it would be good. Pleanty of chance for small bankrolls to sat in and a huge payout for those that final / win.

    The traffic must be increasing all the time here which should mean the site could now sustain a lot more higher end buy-ins if they put plenty of sats on throught the days and nights building up to the big one

    Bring back the Five-0, 50 players max, £100 buy-in. Or tweak it a bit, 100 players max, £50 buy-in. Obviously with satellites as well

        Why would I want to play higher  stakes games with this software ?
    Why do you think the bigger spenders play elsewhere?
    They have tried SKYpoker and it's the same with every conversation outside this site....... Until they get  proper software, its just  a fun site !!
    Enjoyable as it is,  most serious players don't play here ...

    I'll tell ya something, there's a local game to me not a casino,
    once a week "Dealers Choice"  withe a small tournament to begin with ...
    Now the sit down for this cash  game starts with min 250, the blinds are  2 and 5 and every player is a serious poker player, who over the years have played high stakes as well as playing online ...

    The conversation about all online poker is quite fascinating but the one answer they all say when asked about Skypoker is ....
     "The software is a joke, how can you deposit knowing you could be contemplating a raise or having made a bet to find yourself being cut off or some other nightmare freezing scenario resulting in you losing money , not because of bad  play  but because the software lets you down"

       Now some of you might think ..
    "Oh  my  computer handles Skypoker fine !"   But every player at that live game are seasoned campaigner's and they think the same as me...
       " BIG games on SKY, not with that software, but for a small  5  or  10  MTT  . yes it's a fun site, fast  furious, very enjoyable fun games !"

    The only person here on SKY who has confirmed there IS a down loadable site as far as I know is SkyRich, so at least  it's coming some time this year.

    So Charles ask me again when the new software arrives here and I could well agree  with you !     ..

     Until then I'm happy with the small stake MTT's !
    ```````````````````````````````````````````
    Note ...This post will NOT self destruct ..
      ..MOD1 will delete it !!   byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
    10,000 chips, 15/20min clock would be good.
    I have asked for these tournaments for ages.
    So far their has been no demand.
    Look at the 100 deepie every sunday, sky ran sats every minute of every day and the max we ever got was 30 entrants!
    I would love, like james, for a monthly £300 tourny!
    If it got the proper tv coverage and advertisement, (Like Primo) it could have a chance?
    10,000 chips, 20 min clock would be ideal, so you would get plenty of play.
    It would all depend on the success of the satelites as to the success of the tournament, but count me in!
    SIGH!!..... Check the date of my original post, clearly some1 wanted to look through all my past posts and find out which ones didn't kick off...
    This idea has been tried and really has fail tbh, we now have a £100 weekly tourney which last sunday only had 8 runners. They also have the £22 deepstack nightly and have the primo weekly instead of monthly.
    seriously, some people far too much time on their hands to go searching for posts 6 months old!
    who's going to tell the sky boardroom king,
    that he's got no clothes on,
    skypoker has lost so much rake on this site,
    over the past three years,
    they have had a lot of boardroom meetings ,
    like all companies do,
    has anyone in these meeting,
    put themselves forward and questioned,
    this ongoing uploading and crashing problems,
    that are stopping punters playing muti tables,
    at  high/mid/low stake tournaments and s&g  games,
    the investor's in this company must not  be aware,
    of the rake they are losing,
    whilst skypoker has grown over the three years,
    this problem has stopped it from growing a lot lot more,
    its quiet shocking its been left go on this long,
    and a insult to us players that love playing on here,
    god knows we are such a loyal bunch,
    putting up with this for three years,
    we deserve more than this,
    i also play on another pokersite ,
    i had 7 double up tables open and 7 lobbies for each,
    14 windows in total,
    no problems what so ever,
    so to conclude can someone please tell the sky boardroom king,
    he's got no clothes on.
    over and out roborover
