What would I do next time?

See the hand below, I'm kicking myself as I said, surely he won't have Q9. I limped for a reason, is he limping with a monster or going to stop betting if I 3 bet and take the reins for the hand. I went sneaky hoping to clear someone out and I try to vary my play with different hands i.e I would 3 bet there to narrow the field and the risk of not knowing where I am when a higher card flops. I'd be interested to know overall thoughts but honestly if I'm on the turn and in that situation again I'll be licking my lips and calling. It took me from first place to last but just imagine the stack I would have had to cruise control onto the final table. Have I missed something or was I just "unlucky"?

raise pre, makes it easier win pot when you dont improve and easier win a bigger pot when you hit

Flop I'd probably check raise, if you lead make it bigger, you are missing value with the small bet, it alo gives great odds to players behind, especailly if there is a call in front of them.

Turn play is fine, I might bet bigger

Raise to around 16000-18000 preflop limping in behind in the small blind is a disaster for us after 2 players have limped in letting 4 players reliase their equity for free with a hand as vulnarable as 10s out of position to 4 players we would much rather raise and thin the field down.

Postflop play is fine the mistake was preflop.
