Hi, Tikay I appreciate the moves sky is making to fix the problems going forward but at the end of the day I am still getting scammed here. I don't usually play these stakes I am only doing it for the race now this means if I want to do what they did to catch up I have to pay extra for it in terms of rake so how is this fair.
I DO understand your angst here, & so does the Business.
It's to be expected, I suppose, all things considered, that players will try to game the system. As long as they do so within the rules, so be it.
There are definitely some grey areas here though, and Sky Poker are aware of this.
Please just bear with the Suits whilst they decide how to move forward with this. They ARE discussing it I gather.
There won't be a solution that suits everyone, we can safely predict that, and there'll be finger-pointing galore, but The Business will try to come up with the right line.
I'll try & update everyone later today. Until then, please try to be understanding.
I guess from @PLAY4FOOD and @KOBAYASHI's posts that I'm missing something related to the promo. I'm guessing from the whole "cheated" thing that people are flipping for points?
If there is promo abuse going on with this and the micro cash/Vegas thing, just disqualify those involved from this week. Easy game.
Unless there's a business decision to pull the promo because it's not working - Which doesn't seem to be the case from the context of the posts in this thread - this seems like cracking a nut with a sledgehammer. Although I don't play cash a whole lot atm, it's hard enough getting games started on here when regs already refuse to play each other. This only makes that problem worse.

Agree with a large amount of this post. The decision to make this change was done on the back of conversations around the promotion abuse with our legal team. We will actively monitor this and if we deem it fit we will reinstate Jump Start.
Does it seem likely then that we'll see jump start reintroduced to the lower stakes games once the micro madness promo is over? Given the impact of rake at those levels, it's certainly most needed at those stakes imo.

I agree, seems a shame to stop cash players getting jump start.
Anyone who has been chip dumping should be thrown out simple as, its not fair on other players who put a lot of hours in and play the game fair. Sorry to be brutal lads but in my eyes its cheating, hang your heads in shame.

Is it starting tables and quitting when it reaches over three players ?
