Tricky Spot where I felt like folding pre and ended up losing my tournament life

Below is a hand that I'm disapointed with. Bear in mind the big blinds were 40, and was a low entered tornament with the top 3 gaining entry to SPT Glasgow. Pre I almost folded but did not want to seem weak and was a little sus by the player. A big re raise from BB, would you have called pre. Also felt the bet on the turn didnt make much sense so I snapped called and the bet on the river made it seem like a bluff as surely they would have wanted a call?

Despite being the sb, and seeing an utg pot open and 2 calls in front of them, they still want to pile the chips in from the worst table position. That alone should give you a reasonable idea of their hand strength.
I'm not too sure why we're calling turn? Is it with the intention to call off any river? What we doing if the river is a blank? Seems way too kamikaze for a satty, where chip preservation is key.
Raise/folding AKo early in a sat isn't weak by the way, and that mentality has potentially, and partially, cost you the hand and your tournament.
