0.02/0.04p cash game, my very first session on sky poker, was quite surprised how many bad players there are on it, so many people limping in pre flop and calling with rags. I'm more used to live poker haha.

I would like some proper advice and criticisms, not to just be told i played it badly haha. You were on this table for a while before this hand happened, if you were paying attention you would know that stagarmy always bet if you checked to him after the flop, so i did that and just called with a check-raise on the turn in mind. Pot sized bet on the river to make it look like a bluff, and i got paid off thankfully haha.

ignore him skeg...he is always the first in line to tell someone they played and hand badly, yet he posts hand after hand that he has butchered (his hit me in the head with a hammer hand for instance)

I would have lead out on all 3 streets (3/4 pot) and perhaps you could have got some extra value. nh though

Haha is he? I will have a look at some of his topics later lol. And yeah i suppose i could have done that, most players at that level are incapable of folding top pair to a double/treble barrell aren't they?

remove the name of the player who you are against is best.

bet all streets. you want to be stacking them here. you didnt give it a chance to win a big pot by trying a fancy trap. even if you think the villian will bet behind you its not worth it if they are only gonna bet the min. you wasted 2 streets of value if im honest

I will do that next time tintin, thanks.

And yeah i should have i suppose, give me the benefit of the doubt though it was my first session playing online poker, my expectations were a little bit high as in i expect people to be able to fold top pair etc haha :P such a difference between online poker and live poker isn't there?

skeg if you want some good times on betting have a read through my diary because i have lots of hands which show how the betting should be done in these micro stakes.
trapping will never work on micro stakes because 9 out of 10 villians don't bet strong enough most of the time.
you will find my diary in the general chat.

If I'm opening the raise pre hoping to hit, and actually hitting on the flop - I'm betting out all day long. You can't get value if you don't bet out, I feel in the long run it would be better off. Too often people underplay their hand when they hit big, here you lose value and give them more opportunity to hit a card to catch up with your hand. If they want to play it, they have to pay for it!
Don't be afraid of losing customers, just go for value. :)
