i was sitting 4th at the time of this have with a good stack size.
I seem to be making a lot of mistakes with my hand range and wonder if i am playing too loose with myself?
if i'm on the button and no one else has called then i will try to steal the blinds.

Im getting it in on the flop given our equity and stack sizes i dont think you can fold only hands that beat us is aj and aq and i think he flats on flop with these hands. He would have 3bet ak pre and probobly 9s so we can get it in on the flop with our equity against his draws.  Ps dont show the result of the hand as it sort of ruins the discussion.

i think when he raises flop with this stack size you should shove it, i looks more like hes on a draw and is looking to take control of the pot with a free river card

What kind of mtt/structure is this?

Im probably looking to get it in on the flop here craig. However you call the flop then donk shove turn? Are you turning your hand into a bluff here? I dont think worse calls us now

the MTT was a 2K BH for £11
what i thought at the time of the shove was if he is holding an A and i just called his raise on the flop when i see a K on the turn could i get him to put me on a K flush that missed leaving me with just a pair which then becomes 3 of a kind on the turn.

So we beat all aces bar AK AJ AQ (We now beat A9) but you want him to fold an ace?

Sounds like you was turning your hand into a bluff on the turn. I think this is a bad thing to do in this specific spot because the hands you are trying to get to fold (AQ/AJ) are just never going to fold.

Don't think it's a bad shove for value tbh, gets calls from any Ax and denies villain a free card if they have the flush draw as I think this card could get checked back alot.
