More to Gambling than Life - Betting Diary

Seen loads of Poker diaries and like to keep up with Shuv's Punting Diary as sports betting is one of my main interests. So this diary will be one similar to that of Shuv's except will contain probably 80% football and 20% sports I have no idea on except horses which I never bet on.

 

 Anyway will be keeping daily updates of all my bets, Mainly value singles I hope to share with you but also results may be based on Occasions when i trade on my bets as 75% of my betting 'Bankroll' will be on an exchange site and the rest on a sportsbook fixed odds site as these are often better for doubles/trebles/accumulators. 

 

Don't claim to have loads of experience Only 19 (Student Newcastle Uni) but keep up with football intensely and fan of Tennis, golf and darts Betting aswell. My bankroll will be split £750 Exchange site and £250 Fixed odds site. 

Feel Free to ask any questions or Queries on my selections usually try do research onto why I do pick what I pick, will try keep updated daily in line with what bets I have and any bets I do trade/lay off will be shown in results. 

 

Bets will try to consist of some startegy Singles will mainly be either £25-30/£15-20/£0-£10 stakes dependng on confidence and odds

    Anyway No time like the present, got some free bets which needed using so wont be counting them towards profit/loss just fun at big odds I wouldn't usually risk so much at but would rather go for big with free bets. However thought has gone into them and i am confident on them.

    Exciting Night of football ahead! SO found some singles I think represent value, some risky but others i'm confident to stake larger amount at smaller odds. Will give some insight into my selections and also will post some fun accumulators i've had hoping the big pay day.

    Bayern To beat Arsenal £20 at 1/1
    Bayern to score both Halves £10 at 2/1 
    Bayern -1 Asian Handicap £15 at 2/1

    (Best away form team against a struggling birmngham)

    Main reason I'm so heavy on Bayern is simply due to their strength and Arsenals poor quality, having watched Bayern a lot this season they have been unreal beating their last 6 away oppositions to the -1 Handicap and yet to concede a Goal in these 6 games. Arsenal to me rely heavily on Wilshire who I think will be isolate by Martinez tonight and Walcott's pace will pose little threat to an experienced team like Bayern. Believe all of these bets offer good value and expect a comfortable win for the Germans.

    haha No my real name is Ryan I just used to be obsessed with wrestling as a Kid and Mick and the Rock were my favourite. No I've seen that some sites offer this but even I won't be venturing into that market anytime soon.

    Don't claim to know basketball at all, don't even bother watching it just take tips form somebody who is very good in this area and I'm happy to listen and bet on what he says. I will be counting it towards profit and loss as I thought it wouldnt be right if I didnt give you an insight into all my bets.

    Although Memphis won this I manged to some how mess up a lay bet due to reading the score wrong serves ,e right for messing with a sport I have no clue on so therefore ended up basically losing both tips after I had messed  about trading

    I had £25 on Bayern and that is a huge bet for me but thought it was a knocking bet. I was gonna have £5 on Cardiff but glad i didn't now.

    Thought I'd share with you my golf bets I've had including overall winner picks and firs round singles and accumulators ive had bits on. Matchplay golf my favourite form to watch especially at the course its at this week. Don't claim to know loads about the sport, play myself but is something I defiantly look to take more interest in betting wise.

    More Champions League tonight anyway so have had quite alot of bets, usually do its the best standard of football less shocks. Think Barca will comfortably win although there outright price may be low as 1/2, AC Milan are nothing of old and pose little attacking threat to Barca although knowing Barca they will almost certainly concede.

    one question for you tho, can you explain the asian handicap bet? ive seen it listed before but everytime it has 2 figures nxt to a team. how does it work and how does it differ from the standard handicap bet? cheers

    Hi, difference between asian handicap is less risk bascially 

    For example Man united vs Arsenal lets say 
    Man united Evens Draw 5/2 Arsenal 4/1
    Man United on the NORMAL Handicap -1 would be about 5/2 
    Man United on ASIAN Handicap -1 would be about 17/10 

    Asian handicap -1 means if man united were to win by a single goal eg 2-1 1-0 you would get your money back whereas just outright handicap requires them to win by 2 goals or more or you don't get anything back so therefore is more risky. Asian handicaps are good for less risk as you can have team say +1 so if they only lose by 1 goal you get your stake back
