i wanted to give my villian a free card on the turn so decided to check when he then bets the river i thought myself he's hold a K so i did a raise but when he went on to call my raise with A10 i was disappointed and wonder if i should just make bets on all 3 from now on

Yeah, you missed a bet on the turn.

Also either limp behind pre, or raise bigger imo.

Raise pre-flop to the same amount you'd raise with AA. (or check, either is fine)

Bet the same amount on the flop that you'd bet with AA/nothing.

Bet the turn; since you've been given action on the flop you should assume that your opponent has something and will pay you more.

Probably just shove on the river, as played. If he's got a Ten he'll call, if he hasn't got a Ten he won't. That's likely to be true of any raise size so just raise really big.

If you bet the turn, then u hav a chance of gettin it all in on the river, thia has to be your objective with a house,if they hav k 10 so be it.

so defo bet the turn,so you bet the flop when ur behind and chk when ur in front for deception to induce the river bet,so why not  shove the river bet, there no missed f /draw or st8/draw so whats he betting the river with, either 2 pair or a 10,at this level are they ever folding here.

Think you have to ask yourself whats he playing with,so either a 10 or 2 pair,as i said if he has k 10 then unlucky

in answer to this thread, yes

I also think it would benefit you alot more to answer questions on your prev threads instead of leaving them coz they r too difficult, or maybe you just get bored.  you'll learn alot more this way rather than just to keep posting up random hands, and asking should I bet/call/raise etc
