Just watching the sky poker cash game and was wondering how each players hole cards are recorded for the info bar on the side and for the commentators

The cards have a chip in that is read by an overhead camera.

They're very rigid and a bit different to a normal deck and think they cost something like £300 a deck.

I think that similar systems are used by DTD/GPS for their live stream tables
