Donking

Later stages of a mini bounty hunter, been at the table for 5 or 6 hands, villain has limped nearly every hand and check called virtually every street at one point calling on the river with Q high. First hand i played at the table, thought if i could hit a pair or better in position i could take advantage and get some value. Flop comes and the villain decides to donk bet which was new for him.
The very next hand we have the same situation, so how should i proceed here? I know that with my stack size I maybe should be shoving the second hand but I felt that an 18BB shove was a bit big although it would have saved me the decision.
Feel like facing a donk bet is the weakest area of my game and some feedback would be appreciated.

I've only read the first 2 sentences. why are we trying to isolate w/ 810 with 25bb vs somebody who doesn't fold pre, and calls down with Q high? the main reason to iso players a lot of the time is because most of them just c/f otf, if he's not doing that then I don't think it's a profitable iso with 25bb and 10high

I'm aware that I couldn't have played that hand any worse but im more interested in the spot in the second hand because thats where I generally make the wrong decision every time whereas the first hand was more of a mental lapse.

ur stacks to shallow in these 2 hands to do anything but when ur deep i would suggest u punish these donk bets with a re raise or float them then take it away on the turn.

obv not against this guy tho if u say hes lost his fold button, in general tho donk bbets are a sign of 2nd pair or 3rd pair and there trying to find out were they are for cheap. PUNISH PUNISH PUNISH, GL
