    two goals for me,
    1. Get good enough to fund my poker from poker!!

    2. Win another satt, would you believe it the only one i entered i won a seat in the 12k bounty hunter.......on the day the system crashed and they cancelled it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In Response to Re: What are your goals for 2010 in poker? : Hi Ed, The sats pay 1 in 5 to the open etc so even if not quite within your current bankroll why not just take a shot at the sat anyway? Due to the value of being in a 5k gtd tourney for £2.40 eevn a nominal cash in one of these will add substantially to your BR. While bankroll managment is thought of as essential it is still OK to take a shot every now and again

    My only ambition is to try to increase my current bankroll and not make any deposits during 2010.
    I will play within my BR and I will move up a level when it allows me to.
    I would like to play a few more of the main event MTT but I will only try to satellite in when the BR allows it.

    My Aim for 2010 is:--

    Not to throw my lappy across the room when I suffer a bad beat ( this is my 4th New one this yr )
    To get to the final table of the Primo
    Enter into a live tournament through Sky Poker ( Swansea is my aim )
    Increase my bank roll by 75%

    and

    Marry Lisa Marie Long ( mmmm Dreaming again )

    as i play live more than online, my main aim is to reach the final table of the spukt swansea and qualify for the final, i also hope to play in two gukpt events soon.. so fingers crossed

    my aim is to build a bankroll from basically nothing without depositing again.

    it's intersting to see the range of abilities and aims on the site, from the likes of me at the bottom, to those looking to win serious amounts, and get to vegas etc. 

    Thats the good thing about the community, getting to know and chat with players whose tables you are unlikely to play on.

    Move up to 1/2 HU NL by 30/12/2010
    1 million hands played from 1/1/2010 - 30/12/2010
    Play 1 live MTT
    Learn to 4 table HU NL profitably.

    I think goals 1-3 are accomplishable, goal 4 will be the tricky one.

    So how did everyone get on?!?!

    [x] Win the open at least twice - Had 2 open wins so very happy about that.

    [x] Finish  in the top 20 for MTT profit on Sharkscope - Currently 11th,  was top 5 for most of the year but been concentrating on cash for the last 3 - 4 months so dropped down the leaderboard.

    [ ] Qualify for Vegas - No such luck this year but will try again for next!

    Very happy with my year, made a decent profit, next year goals is more of the same and hopefully a deep run / win in a big live MTT like the DTD300.
