Hey guys.

I just won the Semi for the final. Pretty glad with this result. I am just wandering if some people can help with clearing up some details.

Will we have to book a hotel for the night? As its a 2 day event. I am not sure and need some details.

Also what is the prize structure looking like? First proper tournament, getting slightly excited.

Any replies, appreciated, thanks.

There's a sticky thread at the top of the Sky Poker Tour section but here's the important bits.

    Aspers Casino, Stratford, London

    £200+20 buy in

    £30,000 Guaranteed

The organiser (Rich Prew) thinks it will get 300 runners ish so £60,000 prizepool. Probably top 30 getting paid, with a min cash probably being £400ish. 1st prize probably £8000-£9000+

It is a 2 day event. Day 1 will start at 2pm on Saturday and finish probably 1am ish, then starts again at 1pm on Sunday so unless you want to drive home and back the next day, you will need to sort a hotel.

Oh really? I thought it would probably be like 15% of the PP give or take for 1st, I'm sure you know better than me though.

Suppose I might as well go and win it if there's that much up top ;)

Not sure I am expecting 300 runners, though Lambert has quoted me :-)

200 possibly, depending on local interest

First prize would be £10k plus, about 25% of PP
