Hi all. I know most players on here use Bankroll Management, but does anyone use 'Stop Losses'?

Heard someone talking about it and sounds like a good idea. How many buyins/pull ups does it take before you call it a day?

GL and hope you dont need to use it!

Guess it depends on your roll and how many tables you are playing too.

If you are only playing 1 table then doing 4/5BIs in a session is extreme, wheras if you are playing 10 tables then 15/20 isn't out of the ordinary.

Just do whatever feels right for you and what you are comfortable with.

An example could be say if you're having a shot at 100nl with 20 buy ins, so £2,000, and you're 6 tabling, a stop loss could be when you lose 2/3 buy ins. and if this happens you just leave the tables and go back to 50nl or wherever you used to play. As long as you don't lose too much so you can comfortably still play the level below it's cool to take a shot.

    Thanks for your advice guys.

I think it could be as important as BRM, as Liam (sry cant remember your real name) says, sometimes it could be your running bad/playing bad and better to start fresh the next day without losing too much.
