Previous reads is that this villian literally is one of those ATC people, has been calling down with top pairs. 

Given my read should a raise be sending alarm bells?

    IMO mate 99% of the time this type of player suddenly wants to get more cash in you are behind.

    Weak passive calling machine suddenly turns into rambo = fold :)

    you will have to fold you probably need a QK or A to save youas he might hold an overpair and see your bet as a Cbet but when a QK or A comes he might fear then.

    Sure looks like a set mine pre flop.Question is wether we get value out of  88 or 99 type hands? Is he bad enough to bet str8 draws? I'm certainly not going anywhere next and probably call his min rasie to keep his bluffs in?

    ask yourself whether he ever has TT or mid overpairs, if he ever has pair and straight draw, if the answer is no do a fold. if the answer is yes do a reraise or a call.

    this makes no sence. your gonna fold because you put your oppenent on an over pair. im no brain segeuon but im pretty sure AA beats any over pair to that board so why you want a K or Q to drop is beyond me!!!
