    good evening sarah and tikay,

when i was younger i remember this 1 time (a did have a liitle to much to drink) finding myself waking up in early hours of the morning with cars driving by, and a daffodil stuck to my head, i was asleep on a roundabout, i still to this day dont know how i ended up sleeping there. (i do not drink anymore) thankfully.

question for tikay, with ukops underway,  why again NO omaha has been inculded in the schedule??

    have a great show.

Hi all.  Just in from work so I hope the show has gone well so far.  Has anyone mistook cement for concrete today yet?

In my youth I went to a couple of parties where people fell asleep and woke up with only one eyebrow left, never happened to me I'm glad to say.  I did used to fall asleep watching Iron Maiden videos.  Not that they were boring in any way but they used to relax me so much I would drift off only to be woken with a bang twenty mins or so later!

Run well all and remember, it may be UKOPS week but make sure you have fun out there

well although i couldn't hit my 3rd queen on that hand asked about earlier i did take that loss with a pinch of salt knowing other days i have had the high pair myself.
the hands that are hard to accept as losses are when hands like K10o still beat my set (333) on a rainbow flop 8 3 10

    Hey Hey,

Weirdest place fell asleep was bondi beach!, When i was 19 my and 2 friends were travelling down the east coast in Australia. We were staying at a hostel at Bondi Beach over Christmas. After a massive night out, without much sleep we thought it would be a good idea to go down to the beach to chill out! I went and fell asleep haha and even tho i was plastered in sun tan lotion woke up with my back red as a fire engine! Not good!!

Moral of the story dont fall asleep in paradise!

The hand with Paul, i understand the reasoning behind the call, but he must have put him on less than nothing!

Even a semi bluff was winning that all day long. a 3 or whatever cards were out on the board (even if he didnt put him on an ace).

It doesn't seem like a good call imo due to the amount of times he is going to be wrong there. Unless he had a stone cold tell that it was an outright bluff.

When I was 15 or so I went on work experience with my dad in a printing firm.  By the last day of a fortnight working there I was cream crackered.  Working in a printing firm basically consists of standing in a dark room for a few hours, so kind of ideal conditions for catching a nap.  My boss wasn't too pleased when he walked into our office and heard some immense snoring emanating from my direction.  I wasn't asked back.

Good evening Sarah. Looking lovely tonight. Tikay, you're a fine looking chap, of course.

I had a surprise couple of hours play earlier when the mini unexpectedly popped up. It seems Richard gave me a prize on Tuesday... That makes you the only presenter that hasn't given me a prize yet, Sarah. I'm just saying for future reference. ;)

Would you mind giving a bit of a big up to the clinic section of the forum. It would be nice to get lots of new faces/avatars in there. You mentioned pot odds a few minutes ago and coincidentally there was a lengthy thread on that in the clinic a few days ago:

    Pot Odds

I don't drink so sleep nowhere but my own bed (all too frequently alone, lol). However my friends have woken up in shop doorways, against lampposts, under cars - Nowhere unusual for Blackpool on a Friday night.

As per usual, it's been an excellent show.

    Evening Sarah and Tony.

Might have an unfair advantage in this going to sleep comp as i suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome. i am a lot better now but a few years ago when it really had a hold as soon as i felt the slightest bit tired i would go to sleep no matter where i was or what time of day. These included falling asleep in a restaurant half way through a meal celebrating my daughters 18th birthday, falling asleep stood up outside a pub on the main road where i live for about half an hour with lots of people just walking past me as it was only 8pm (must have all thought i was drunk) and the funniest one i guess was going to see the specialist for the first time and yes i fell fast asleep in the waiting room and he had to shake me awake for my appointment!!

Borin, do you live in Blackpool? Do you ever play at the Genting Club on the promenade?

    Hello again folks,

Just to let you know, I did end up final tabling the UKOPS Micro but sadly bust in 5th place for abuot £50. Still not bad for a £2 BI

Also, my girlfriend, Emma (Llamas) is still going in the UKOPS Mini and is 16th out of 31 when 864 runners started so shout out for her please Tikay!

i have just had a good ukop mini i finished around 70th and went out to AA which i called with KJ but i was much happier with my play and probably only had two bad hands which i call bad as i wasted the chance to build my stack by fold KQ preflop when my stack was short and shoving AA preflop when i had 20BB when i could have raised.

I do indeed live in Blackpool but I've never been to the Genting Club. Is that the old Castle Casino in North Shore?

I don't play live often and I live about ten minutes walk from the G casino, so whenever I do fancy a live game it's in there.

well as you said to me earlier a hand as just shown me why it is best for QQ to get it all in preflop. For QQ to win the most against hands such as AK it is no use calling preflop i have to try getting it all in preflop and just accept the times i will be facing KK and AA.
thanks for the show i have enjoyed it

I think so. I'm not from Blackpool myself but I went there last night and played a £15+3 re-entry. V.soft as you can imagine. Only about 50 runners but it was dealer dealt which is kinda cool for such a small amount of runners. I might be heading back with a friend next week sometime, you should join and let me pwn :-)
