Never been before, actually never played poker in a proper casino.
Does anyone have any advice as to what to and what not to do, where to play a decent tournament and low stakes cash games.
Where to avoid and other night life that is worthwhile visiting for a stag long weekend (second time around so more sedate!)
I look forward to any comments.
Cheers

Can't help Vegas i'm afraid but would advise going to your local casino and playing there before you go.
There will be little things that you are unsure of and i think you would be more comfortable if these were sorted before you go.
I don't play cash, though I saw loads of cash tables running there all day at a variety of stakes. We thoroughly enjoyed playing in one of the daily tournaments. There were several local sharks in the field, though this was balanced by the presence of wealthy American tourists who were poor players. They're very used to people with little or no live experience, everybody was very relaxed about it, I didn't see anybody getting any grief for making any of the typical live mistakes; acting out of turn, string betting etc. Always verbalise and you'll be OK.
The Aria also looked good too. The only thing that put us off was that it seemed pretty cramped, the poker room there is much smaller than the Venetian, it looked like everybody was sqeezed in without much room between tables.
Have fun and good luck!
If you put in poker tournaments in las vegas into your search engine, you will be able to look at all the casinos and make your decision from there, dependent on your bankroll.
I won, more than, enough to pay for the saturday tourney at Ceasers Palace for $300 and it was a great structure, but did take over 8 hours to complete and i went out on the cash bubble(8th).
I'm there from 28th April for a week and can't wait, so just enjoy.
