Is rake paid on every street if there is a bet and a call?

Or do you pay rake on bet -> fold hands?

Once you reach the flop, a percentage of the final pot is taken.

That will be any matched bet. So if the pots £10 you bet £4, and  you get called all in for £3.00, the raked pot is £16.00, with £1.00 returned to yourself.

If you bet, he folds the pot is £10.

Simple way of seeing it... When you're sat playing, look at the pot that is displayed on the table. This is the total the pot is worth after rake. So say the total betting preflop has made exactly £1, when the flop is dealt you will see the value of the pot go down to 95p because they have taken 5%.

Like others have said, if you don't see a flop there is no rake taken.

If there is a bet of 50p on the flop and a call the pot will then go to £1.90. (£1 bet, but 5% taken again so 95p added)

Yeah forgot to mention that the pot shown on the table is after rake, which is -5% at stakes above 5/10nl and -7.5% on 5/10nl and below.

Full explanation can be found by clicking Help and typing Rake in the search box.
