downloadale sky poker?

Everyone seems to be anxious for sky to release the downloadable version. Being a techno idiot, what is the benefits/advantage of this?

    nah, i believe its means less chance of slow play and site failers.....

    it should be more stable, take up less memory, should be able to save Hand Histories locally, and as it prob wont be Adobe Flash orientated it should have resizeable windows

    A downloadable version should be more stable and able to run more tables at a smooth rate. Also things like poker tracker and holdem manager should be able to fit with a downloadable version as they will have an exportable hand history
