FAO Sky - Tournament Schedule

I was just copying the links to all the lobbies for Community Wednesday and saw something very strange which is just restricting prize pools.

£750 BH - £5.75 - 10:40pm
£250 BH - £2.30 - 10:45pm
£200 BH - £5.75 - 10:45pm

All 3 of them have identical structures. Just to meet the guarantee, there would be a total of 315 runners and I'm sure they'll all break the guarantee anyway.

Would it not be miles better to have 1 bounty for this slot even if it means making it a £3.30 to suit smaller BRs (£3.45 if you really wanna do 15% rake) and have 1 tournie which could easily break £1,000 GTD. I might be wrong, people may disagree (please do so on this thread if you do) but imo people want small BIs with big money up top more than small BIs and with small fields but only winning <£100 for 1st. Big prize pools attract players.

I know people don't always stay up late but tbh, I think if you start an MTT like this @ nearly 11pm, then you're already committed to being awake til 1am+ so don't think that should be too much of an issue.

    remember its abounty hunter promotion week where there is added value and added tourney's, their words, the £2.30 is an added tourney and ithe 10:45 £5.75 i think only runs on a wednesday as part of the community night.

    having 3 kick off in 5 mins doesnt suprise me in the slightest, the lobby is saturated with them as it is.

    I didn't want this to turn into a rant about BHs. I'm not the biggest fan of BHs, I'm old school and prefer a good old freezeout or rebuy but I don't mind BHs and still do play them.

    This was more an obversation of 3 identical tournaments starting within 5 minutes of each other

    Yeh I know m8. Dunno y I put that in first place. I agree with ur OP tho makes no sense to put same structured B/H's on within 5 mins of each other. I'm not keen on B/H's play them occasionally but don't take them seriously as I see them as a bit of a laugh. Not serious poker IMO

    Thanks for pointing this out!

    The 10:40pm Bounty Hunter has been taken down for this evening, and will be back tomorrow.

    Hopefully a big prizepool can be generated for the final Community Night event of the evening. The 'Community Bounty Hunter' at 10:45.

    15% rake is hilarious.

    obviously it's all the dealer/building expenses that require it to be higher rake than in a casino........
