just got an email - having signed up to follow skypoker on twitter the other day. Now I'm sure skypoker will be happy with the skyvegas link - but the others? Wouldn't we be rather shown links to Tikay & James Hartigan.

In website land you can optimise your site to appear better in searches - does such a thing exist in twitterland? If so I guess skypoker should do some optimisation. If not how do you avoid your followers getting sucked into a competitor?

I'm up for correction but I'm pretty sure the suggestions you get are correlations between who you follow, who follows you, who you follow follows and who follows who you follow.  You follow?

In other words it's pretty tough to make sure the suggestions to one person or thing standard, plus I'm sure there's a random element to it when they pluck some of them out.
