readless is it ever possible to make this call with 6 hands seeing the flop?

what specific betting reads would enable you to do it?

Sam Grafton opened and got five callers, including xxx

10-J-7 flop, two diamonds

Checked round to xxx, last to speak who bets 1,000

One caller

Grafton 6,000

xxx flats

Heads up to the turn 3 of diamonds

Grafton shoves, just over a pot sized bet

xxx calls him with A-J top pair top kicker and holds against K-Q the up and down on the 7 river to go to over 80,000 and knock Grafton out

Very very villain specific.  Grafton puts go in so many tough spots and I believe there was previous direct history shown at the table.

Never loving it but can totally endorse the call, probably goes a lot down to the intangible things that are present in live games referred to as feel which cannot be described in a hand analysis.

    thks Tommy,

so much easier to make the shove than call it! I am assuming neither had a diamond, if they did it would make it all a bit easier. And the problem with these aggro players is that sometimes they do have it.
