my main aim with this hand was to just hope for the flush straight or two pair so when i only had the single pair i decided to go with the check call as a raise would only likely get called by better aces when the second ace came on the turn i went more in favour of being ahead so did a check raise.
when the river then shows a flush and knowing that their were two callers should i go for a check call because out of the two villians the one i would most likely put on the flush was the villian sandwhiched between me and the button as he just called both streets even when i raised and i couldn't see him risking a bluff incase the button did hold an A or even had a FH which he wanted to hide.

another reason on why i wondered if a check on the river would have been better is with the board being low if an A did call the would probably still be a good chance of loosing it.

that is a meaningless bet on the river given the size of the pot. you can't be betting for value so it must be a bluff - if so raise it bigger or if not then don't raise it at all

It's weird he doesnt ship the river, i take it we are beat here??

But i would just check call the river.

I wouldn't be reraising either on the turn, i would be trying to get to the river for as cheap a show down as possible. There is just so many hands that dominate us.

    What did they have?
