Wow, it feels like it's been forever since I was last in the studio. I mean, since i last did a show winter has gone, the trees have leaves, Broadchurch revealed a murderer, I developed a girl crush on Jennifer Lawrence, the SkyPoker team had their DTD outing, I randomly met Jules Sowa in a steak house in London for the first time (random), Tikay has aged (more)...
You get the message. I have missed you! I think it's only been 2 weeks or so but you know...
So tonight, we have a show for you:
7pm – Tonight On Sky Poker Coverage of the highlights from the final table of Tuesday night’s £5,000 Turbo Open. 8pm – Poker Clinic We’ll be taking a look at viewers' hand requests during this hour, masking their opponents hole cards and analysing the action from their perspective. 9pm – Analyse My Play We’ll follow the progress of players who are playing the £12K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter for the first time. 10pm – Top Of The Pots Count down of the top 15 hands of the week from the televised Mastercash tables. 11pm – Sky Poker Highlights Live coverage of the late stages of the £12K Sky Sports Bounty Hunter. It would be great if you could send in some questions for Mr Simon Trumper, Rob Yong's right hand man at DTD in Nottingham.

Hope you enjoy the show this evening, and the best of luck to those of you playing our main event. The 12k Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.
lots of love

I'm sure Mr Trumper will answer & clarify but I have played at venues (even @ DTD) and seen players play whilst standing up. I'm not sure what the specific rules are or whether there actually are any, but I would imagine most reputable venues would be able to cater for most medical conditions & disabilities.
Nice to see you back, have a great show.
Question for Simon........
Q 1- Rob Yong was recently on the Big Cash Game on Sky.....Do you have any plans to play on the next series of the Big Cash game? (Assuming there is going to be one)
Rob Yong had a great presence at the table and was great fun so I hope he returns again..
Q 2 - Who do you think is the better player (You or Rob Yong)? and do you think you could beat him Heads-Up?
Q 3 - I have played at a few live venues which have "Self Dealt" Tournies - Do you think this is acceptable or do you think that ALL licenced poker rooms should have their own dealers?
If you've got a hand you'd like to be featured in the Poker Clinic please post the hand id and some background info on this thread!
To the best of my (current) knowledge, no, we are not doing a Sky Sports Simulcast this evening.
Just had a thought......
There was a sort of trial "Omaha" evening last night, with two more scheduled.
If you have any questions on Omaha, we would LOVE to hear them.
Simon Trumper & myself have both played a lot of Omaha, & Simon has been very successful at Omaha down the years. I confess my Omaha achievements are a tad more humble, but I know the basics well, & roughly how many beans make 5 when it comes to Omaha, much more so than Hold Em.
I would go so far as to say that when it comes to teaching newbies the basics of Omaha, Simon Trumper is the best teacher/mentor I have ever met.
So, we cannot SHOW Omaha hands, but would be very happy to answer any Omaha questions.
Word of Warning - When Simon starts, he never stops, he don't 'arf rattle. Top top bloke though.
He can tell you the value of ANY wristwatch, too. Truly.
Hi Anna and Tikay, hope you have a great show
a hand for the Poker Clinic
#647199436The villain had bought into the table short stacked and had been very active and made some questionable plays. I flatted his lead on the flop to trap with the intention of getting it in on the turn or river. Question is what line should I take on the turn? I opted to flat as it makes the river bet a natural allin, but not sure if raising the turn is a better line.
