the exact position is as follows, from the club
I have noticed some posts on the Sky Poker Tour Forum regarding the sale or availability of alcohol at the Sporting Emporium. It may not be too important but just so that you are aware, the position is that the Club does not hold a licence to sell alcohol and does not operate a pay bar. There is a table service where members are provided with complimentary drinks and refreshments while playing at the gaming tables. This service is on the gaming floor only and is not available in the card room. Alcohol is not permitted in the card room. For those who wish to take a break away from the game and have a pint and relax there are numerous pubs and bars in the immediate area around the Club.
