HI guys
This happened in DTD2 relatively early in T. Unfortunately tbh i took my eye off the ball and didn't notice the the paired board coming turn and river so really i was just scared of Jack of hearts but even if i had noticed the pair would it have mattered as would this be the betting line with AA, KK, or QQ? Happy if you feel i've made mistakes as its been a while snce i've played and feel as if i'm easing my way back in.

Looking back on it with big stacks relative to the blinds, i'm trying to show weakness to tempt a rer from him and he only AI's on river after the pair. Wasn't really expecting AA or indeed KK orQQ and would have expected a rer earlier to get away from the flush though relatively small bets involved. I feel i made a mistake and if i had noticed the 66 then i don't know if i would have folded as personally if i was sb i'd have made a value bet of some sort. Your thoughts? TBH i was kicking myself.

That's quite an overbet, take away the paired board, even the jack of hearts is beating us. Is he shoving 9 8 of hearts?

    We have to fold here.

Yeah this is never a bluff and imo never a worse value hand. Hard to see what he can shove for value tbh with the line taken, but I'd just assume he's played the hand funky and let him have it.

I'm surprised you called the river, very easy fold.

     Hi IDCU

im beating a nine of hearts for a start m8. lol. i certainly didnt expect AA and if the guy had say TT and overbet pot to represent.Maybe im clutching at straws but i've seen plays amd big overbets to take pot away eg this afternoon massive all-in with Q8 !!!!!! I with AQs. sometimes people will bluff at pots. Ive seen you do it enough mate. joking aside, as i said, i'd not noticed the pairing of board as  was just so glad it was black. My fault completely and yes fold was correct way as all have said...cheers m8

PS I've taken a break for a couple of months. The last time i was on you were leaving......i should have known better eh haha

    Hi S
Cheers for your reply. No excuses but i'd not realised the board had paired so thought i was only up against the jack of hearts so was asking myself if i'd make a big overbet with say 9 of hearts. My fault entirely and its good to know everyone thinks i should fold as now there are 5 possible hands that beat me not just one as i first thought. Thanks for your input..
