It's says 20% rakeback, How your work out how much rake you have paid ? Posted by rancid
Hi Rancid. It al depends on the level you play at & pot size - Below is an example you may be able to work it out from.
Here’s an example to show you how this will be calculated:
We are playing on a cash table where the blinds are £0.02/£0.04
The flop is seen by 2 players with 20p put into the pot pre-flop, rake at this stage is 7.5% * £0.20 = 1.5p (rounded up to 2p) therefore 18p in the player pot
At the turn another 80p is bet in total making a £1 pot, rake at this stage is 7.5% * £1 = 7.5p (rounded up to 8p) therefore 92p in the player the pot
At showdown, another £1 is bet making a total pot of £2, rake is now 7.5% * £2 = 15p (no rounding required) therefore £1.85 in the player pot goes to the winner
It's hard if you play a mixture of MTTs/SnGs and cash, but I imagine the majority of your points are from cash.
If so, to get a rough idea.... say you earn 12,000 points.
We know we get 6 points per £1 so 12000 divided by 6 means you must have paid £2000 rake, then obv you get 20% back so £400.
It is rough cos it's not the same with MTTs/SnGs but if tha majority of your play is cash you can do that. If the majority of your play is MTTs/SnGs then do the same but with 10 points per £1, and if it's a lot closer to 50/50, then GL working it out

Rake levels: Above 5p/10p
(*Rounded UP to the nearest pence)
But does anyone not find it annoying that the widget only states
number of points
the percentage of rakeback you will receive
once I'am in priotiy next month, will it then show how much rakeback in £'s ?
First time I have reached priority since rewards has come in you see
why u say this ?
How are you supposed to work out how much rake you have paid in to work out the 20% rakeback :S
Priority is just an end result, not something I target tbh
