Yes, we're back with a bang with another
LIVE show tonight on Sky Poker TV Channel 861.

We start at 7. We stay till it's Wednesday. And of course this ain't no ordinary Tuesday- it's a jacked-up, piston-pumping... 





Get to that start line as quick as you can and don't spare the horses- we've got live coverage of tonight's main event -the £4k Turbo Open.

Coverage commences at 8 and will continue through to midnight with a one hour Mastercash sesh in between, from 10-11pm.

And leading up to the kick-off, we'll bring you the highlights from Sunday night's SuperRoller final table. That's from 7-8pm.

Now, last time, I was paired with someone for the very first time- Joe Stapleton. Tonight could not be any more different. In our 300th pairing (this is not an exaggeration by the way folks) it's...

Sorry kids- the truth is out. Tikay IS Father Christmas.

Which has got me thinking- what do you think all the presenters and analysts on Channel 861 would be doing in a different life if they hadn't become poker presenters and analysts?

What sort of career or job would suit each one of us down to a tee?

Send 'em in! No prizes, it's just for fun and the chance to get your genius effort read out on air. (Although I am trying to persuade our tight producer to relinquish a couple of spot prizes- watch this space.)

    Rich would clearly be a WBA reserves player

    Joe would work in a well known burger chain

    James would be a failing actor

    while tikay would just be sleeping.

    Sarah would make a good radio presenter ! :-)

    Thewy would be a athlete because he just runs so well.

    Carlo would run a chain of tanning salons.

    Tikay would be a UN Ambassador (if he can put up with Poker players' whining then he could sort out the worlds problems).

    and as for Mr Orford,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  well there's no hope really ! (only kidding Rich) :-)

    Richard & Tikay would still be a pairing IMO. I think a series like 'Richard & Tony rejuvenate old railway buildings'

    The other TV couple, James & Joe, would be USA soccer commentators.

    Anna & Sarah would  be cheer leaders at Wembley.

    Carlos would be a time share salesman in Benidorm.

    Julian Thew & Reds would be oil millionaires after trying their luck drilling in Norwich.

    Ha! All very realistic, except the girls being cheerleaders! I'll leave you to explain that one to them at the next SPT, Alan. I'll be hiding in the back room as you do so.

    I couldnot ask for any better presenters.  I usually go out on tuesdays but i have sent the whole family away so am relaxing at home playing poker with no interruptions.

    Richard would drive an ice cream van

    I don't know why, just got a feeling.

    Hi Rich and Tk.

    Simple question and open to all. What has happened to showdown?  I was recently playing live and I called a bet after the river, I turned my cards over and he mucked his, I asked the dealer that I wanted to see the cards as I had called to see them, after this I was vilified for the rest of the night. I see this all the time live and on tv , surely the answer is in the show bit, your input please

    Best not to read too much into my earlier post.  They were the first four jobs that came into my mind.  I did think James' was quite apt though.
