Should i just have shoved, after the short stack went all in?

It is about 8 from the bubble, and i'm sitting above average stack wise.

Yeah once the shorty goes all in, I just shove over the top. Probably gets AT to fold (not that we want people to fold AT when we have AQ).

I agree with the gentlemen above me.  AQs is a strong hand but not one we really want to trap with in this spot.  The AT man I assume is trying to fold you out as they cover you ad have a free run at your dead money in what they see as a favourable match up against the shortie.  You got unlucky but if you shove it puts pressure on TT and Jacks from people who cover you, you'd rather they folded tbh and you might as well put on max pressure.  Sometimes you'll run into the very top end of the deck but what's life without a little gamble.

Yea Bh as imo riceone should not be calling here to an all-in by you. You've allowed him to but really you should go all-in after the short stacks all-in. This would probably have put the big stack off which you really want with AQo in my opinion and near the bubble. You've given the big stack a chance to see the flop in an affordable way. One of those things i suppose. Gamble time with csi of 17 and a good chance to increase your stack a bit but still be in T if you lose to shortie.
