This won't be in any kind of order.

33 v 88: I don't like calling the flop bet, then 3-betting the raise. It makes it really difficult for our opponent to continue with 67, 46, 24, top-pair type hands and there can't be many overpairs in his range after not 3-betting pre-flop. We're basically hoping he has 85, 53, 99 or TT I think. If we're calling the c-bet, I'd like calling the raise too. Obviously a cooler but I think you narrowed his range too much by shoving.

JJ v QQ AIPF: Our opponent's obviously not an experienced player but I don't think I'd be giving him any suited connectors or low pairs for this shove. That means his range is going to be AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK or maybe AQ TT if we're lucky. Without seeing him do this a lot or seeing him do this with a wider range I don't think we should assume he's doing it especially light. I think it's a fold.

99 v straight flush: I understand what you're thinking when limping behind pre-flop but you know my feelings on it. We have a good hand, in position and limpers in front of us. Raise it up and make them pay for their foolish limpy nonsense. We're just capping our range at non-premium pairs and suited connector type hands when we call. I don't like set-mining when there are other chances to win the pot. When our raise is called we still build the pot, in position and can play post-flop for max-value or to take it down c-bet bluffing.

On the flop, I understand why you're flatting - raising just gets folds from so many hands on this dry flop and you're just hoping to have coolered someone when you raise. I don't hate the way you've played it post-flop but pre-flop I hate set-mining when we have other options to outplay our opponents.

That said, I'd probably flat the river after he leads out. He's taken off on the turn and most of the draws present on the turn have come in with this river. We were still multi-way going to the turn, after all.

33 v EvilPingu AIPF: I'm not sure I like getting in a pre-flop levelling war against a good player when we're in position. Okay, so we presumably think he's 3-betting wide blind v button but is 4-betting really the best response. Admittedly being 100BBeff makes it tricky to be doing things like floating flops but by 4-betting pre-flop we're really giving away the advantage of position. This deep, he's never going to flat and we have a hand that's either flipping or dominated against his range. I wouldn't suggest calling to set-min but you do know he's going to barrel the flop and turn plenty of the time, so it's not a terrible idea. We obviously need to be willing to call down with just our pair sometimes or to rep wet boards, but at least we're keeping the positional advantage.

4-betting just allows him to avoid playing oop against us. If he's 3-betting wide, let him play post-flop in bloated pots against us when we'll get the chance to act second on every street. I'd prefer 4-betting a polarised range, depending on the dynamic at the time, or not 4-betting at all. I don't want to 4-bet marginal value hands, especially if I think he might 5-bet light sometimes.

3-bet shoving the 66 just looks pretty tilty to me. I don't think it needs much analysis. The AQs v 99 seems fine with just 40BBeff. It might be better to flat and see a flop in position but he's probably not folding too many of the hands he 3-bets that you beat to a 4-bet and he might fold some of the hands you're flipping with. (Thinking about it, I think flatting pre-flop is better in position facing a 7x 3-bet against this stack)

AQs v KK All-in on the flop: I don't think there's much option but to shove the flop if you don't think he's flatting AA, KK or QQ to your pre-flop 3-bet any more than he is other hands. It's tough to put him on a hand that raises the flop that we're happy about because we have the AsQs so there aren't many flush draws he can be semi-bluffing. However, if he's got JJ, TT or lower pocket pairs we're not getting him to fold but have great equity and we can't flat to see a turn card OOP. If it's a good card for us we may not get paid and if it's not we forfeit half our equity (by not seeing the river) when he forces us to fold. We may yet get it in against weaker draws. I think it's fine as played.

The rest of the hands seem like real coolers: What can you do?

Thanks Borin, can always rely on you to give a good level headed response. I agree that a lot of the above hands aren't exactly played perfectly.

Sure I'll get back to winning ways soon.

Only thing I would say is that the person who just 3bet shoves 100xBB pre. I am readless but in my experience, this is rarely AA/KK, and is much more likely something where they aren't sure how to ply post flop along the lines of AK (possibly AQ) and 99-QQ and sometimes I've seen just some complete random junk like J4o.

Never come here but because it's you...

    H1.  Fine,

H2,  fold, don’t bother taking this spot – find better spots

H3,  hard to see what they doing this with that you beat

How often they gotta be bluffing or have worse for you to call

H4, can never fold, even though it feels like what it is – it could equally be overprs/2 prs

H5, against that spewtard it’s so standard )

H6,  why 3 bet, is it good verus this oppo get it range or flat 3 bet range

What are oppo tendacies facing 3 bet when ip ? What is oppo range and what is our perceived range.

Flop =Do we have any FE, how is it better to leverage that FE - when oppo raises do you have the price to call verus oppo range or verus oppo range is it better  to get it in

H7,  BIT TOO CUTE ! raise pre – raise flop – going multi way on flop someone has either something or draw –

    H8, fine

H9, fold to the 3 bet pre against the effective – your happy flipping verus oppo 5 bet bluff range ?

H10, meh – bet flop, maybe find a check on river but hey you got 2 prs

H11, sigh, flipping for 50bb – you seem to be flip happy

H12, not sure about this one, probably fine depends on oppo 3bet/call range with that effective

Something’s to work on/ think about.
