Hi guys...

Just lost a big pot just two or so orbits before. Since ive shoved three times getting it through. Shoved hoping for even 40:60. Considering my csi value and 4 hdd would you shove in sb with this? desperate times..and all that? Admittedly i've no real fold equity....

    nope
you have a few more hands before you go through the blinds again, so you can wait for a better spot

If you're certain your opponent can never fold to your shove, then you're effectively calling all-in for 9.9k to win a total pot of 22.8k. Pot odds of about 43.4%

So you need your equity to beat 43.4%. I don't use pokerstove but you'd need to put your hand into that and see how it plays against 'any two cards'. It's probably good enough but that's only a guess.

If you think your opponent might ever fold then it's an easy shove, even if he only folds the weakest few hands.

To be honest, I'd shove anyway because I don't want to play with 3.3BB and we already have a fair chunk invested. There's also only one player who might find a dominating hand to call us with if we shove here, as opposed to two opponents from the button, three from the cut-off, etc...

    Hi guys

The charts and tables I have for cs I<3 in sb gives T6s as acceptable toshove ESP 4 hdd but with no FEq it does seem awfully weak. Tbh 10 hdd Ifold and wait for something better(mistake? ) . Interesting that 2 guys who's opinions I value have diverse opinions on something that I see as a mathematical problem of a more standard type. That's part of my problem with the game. .....a lack of instinct and too keen to believe!!!

I think theres quite alot of hands he will fold though.

I'm fine with a shove, suited isnt it :)
