4k BH final table bubble

active table - no surprise there given who is on it - already in the cash - playing for the win
is the villains reraise on the flop a bluff enough times to make the call worthwhile?
i've only 14BB after my flop bet and didn't fancy being on such an active table with such a small stack, which is what finalised my decision to call
is there a better line?

23 bbs, i personally move all in pre flop. 88 allways going to be tricky to play post flop out of position with that stack. not a bad flop though really for 88 but who ever the the guy with aj or kj is or what ever hand hes obv got a raging b0ner and has u beat and wants your bounty badly!!

If you're planning to call off a shove on this flop you can bet quite abit smaller, give him some incentive to make a move.

I'm not sure he's going to be bluffing here when you bet half pot after 3betting pre, you look very strong.

You can bet/call 5.5k or something.

    Or just bet/fold.

Dunno about pre flop, it's on sky and I dnt have much experience so can't comment. I'd expect a call pre to be ok v some opponents though. Shoving can be ok also. Dnt think I'd 3b/call v many people.

dont like pre.. easy jam vs most with eff stack behind.. 88 not goin flop well givin him that good a price to call with most his openin range thats not gonna call pre.

rarther think about vills opening range - what percentage of vills range calls and how u fair aginst that range - always a shove or fold- ya know how much does vill fold -
3 bet small with this hand is just naaaaaaaaaaa

flop decision to get it in is made for you, with one over what you gonna do fold when you have put in so much !

thks guys i needed that therapy after butchering the hand
    yes he had AJ
yes given my strong line it could never be a bluff
yes i played it too cute and should have just shoved or folded pre

i blame being exhausted from having to be on a table with MattBates & TommyD

    HI G

Nice table fella. Just over 20BB. I say shove pre myself as flops oop tend to have overs for 88 and put you in a difficult position. You certainly have enough FEQ, will be putting an aggro marker down and saying "im going ftw".

As it stands, with just one over, no real draws, i think i make my stand and shove on the flop too. Put him to the decision.

    Hope it went well G
