River decisions...

So, for the last year I've been working out in Korea, and had no time for poker. Back for a short vacation, rusty as anything but thought I'd play a little for fun while I'm here. This spot happened in the late stages of a tournament.

Villain had been fairly tight, so I'd been adjusting my raise sizes accordingly. Pre I'm obviously happy, flop looks good but I was a little surprised to see the call. Turn is a horrible card, even more so when he calls a fairly sizeable bet. The question is, does the river make me happier or not? Any bet now is pot committing, so do I bet with the intention of getting it in, check with the intention of calling any bet, or check with intention to fold? My instinct is he's pretty strong, but I hate checking the river after attacking all the streets...

Of course, the raise sizing early could be an issue. In retrospect the only one I don't really like is the flop bet though, probably should be more like 3/4 pot to stop these turns happening, just a 2x raise pre is (I think?) acceptable at this stage.
