Can,t run or download poker client

It used to be fine but when i tried it the other day it kept trying to install updates then would come application failed and as soon as you clicked close it would continue trying, so had to go into task manager and keep shutting it down as it was continuesly loading up so i thought i,d un-install it and try aagain, but now it won,t even install.

Keeps coming up "error occured"

Any help appreciated

    I remember a spate of this a while back,can't find the discussion now.
    As i remember even when you uninstall the DL there was a folder retained holding bad info in Program Files (x86) that had to be manually deleted before the DL would install.GL
