I played in the deepstack last night and at the time thought i plyed this hand right , but now i'm not so sure. It was early on so no reads on how the players played it is also only my 5th or 6th deepstack played.

My method of thinking was that one of the others had a king or ace so thats why i kept checking but now i think i should of just put a little raise in to test the water.    What do you think any tips?

Cheers jamie

I raise more pre and c-bet the flop. We can still get lots of calls by big aces and PPs because people won't assume we have to have the king.

Once we check the flop, I don't see much point in betting the A on the turn cos we'll struggle to get called by worse now and our 60 bet just looks so weak. River is an easy fold.

many thanks , thought i played the flop wrong.  And yes looking at the turn bet its very low and giving them better pot odds.

    I'm getting there slowly

    Hi J

Usually pre is 3x bet plus 1 bb for each extra player. So 150 at least. This will provide after a goodish flop to half pot and put off Ax's size wise. Unfortunately poor position will req a bet on a dangerous turn card for those who stayed in with AJ say. River is a fold.
