Get dealt KK, raise it up, get 2 callers and an ace-high flop, i c-bet hoping to take the pot right there but i get a caller, turn gives me a set, i bet and he calls again, then he leads out for a pot sized bet on the river when the backdoor spades come in, should i be raising the river, or is it just a call? No reads on opponent i should mention.

I'd ship for value definitely. If he's back door'd you then fair enough.

Yeah i thought i should have to be honest, i was torn between the 2 choices, ended up just calling and he had rivered 2pr (A7) haha.

Bet turn bigger. River I'm definitely shoving for value. If the As was a heart and the 4h (say) was a spade then I might consider just calling the river against a passive/tight opponent since now it's possible for him to have had an As xs hand which would call the flop.
