Poker's craziest bankroll challenges/prop bets

What's the funniest way you've heard of poker players spinning up their bankroll via challenges or prop bets? I've heard quite a few down the years but hadn't heard about one Alexander Kostritsyn undertook:

"While his live tournament accomplishments are impressive, Kostritsyn’s bread and butter is playing on the virtual felt, and his online exploits are legendary. One story involves Kostritsyn’s friends betting that he couldn’t run a $1,000 bankroll up to $100,000 within a week. Kostritsyn accepted and one day later entered a $1,000 buy-in event that he promptly won for $89,000. He won the remaining $11,000 shortly thereafter."

Ha! BRM straight out of the window, decides to just bink a tournament instead.

What are the best prop bets you've heard involving poker players? There's a few classics from years back involving Puggy Pearson and Amarillo Slim, and I do know there was one player who took a bet which meant he had to live in a Bellagio bathroom for a month...

    Nah I got no cool stories but love stuff like this so will keep an eye out on this.

    The player who bet he could stay in a Bellagio bathroom for a month was Jay Kwik. He didn't have to finish the month because Andrew Robl bought himself out of the other side of the bet before the end

    One of the most well known ones was the Mike Matusow - Ted Forrest weight loss bet

    I am just gonna throw this out there, but we do not have enough prop bets on Sky.

    Best Prop I ever witnessed was in Jersey in 1983.

    We were on a stag weekend and booked into the Hotel De France because we had seen it as a casino on Bergerac.
    Cost a fortune to stay there, imagine our dismay when it turned out the casino was only for TV.
    Worse was to come we'd paid for evening meals, put our best togs on and gone to dinner. Only to be refused entry as the dress code was Black Tie.

    After several hours on the town followed by bedroom brag, whist and poker we decided that whoever won the most cash would return to the restaurant in black tie the following evening.

    Up stepped our hero. His name was Eric Bunney, (sadly no longer with us, but fondly remembered)
    Bold as brass he made his entry into the dining room the following evening.
    A portly, hursuit, jovial man, he strode into the restaurant with nothing but his birthday suit and a black Dicky Bow Tie.

    When the Maitre D attempted to stop him he pushed past and in a loud Hampshire accent said "Don't be so petty little man, cant you see? I've come in Black Tie!

    Despite several attempts to remove him he stayed the duration, ate his meal and left us all with irreplaceable memories that will stand the test of time.

    Better still, Corbiere won the Grand National that year and we all placed bets at 66/1 and had to return to Jersey to collect our winnings later that year

    Don;t think i can top Dunmidosh's

    And not a BR prop bet. 


    But once i ended up in Newcastle wearing a mankini. - i didn't even lose the bet! :(
