Would you fold the river?

It just didn't look like a bluff on the river, looked like a value bet. Thoughts?

Yeah doubt it's a bluff and doubt he's value betting a worse 2pr on a str8y flushy board.

Bit sigh but it's probably a fold.

Really weird line checking the turn, prob scared of the flush.

He prob had 88, with 8 of diamonds. But still, i'd prob expect him to bet turn with pocket 8s.

    Weird one lol

Larson when he checks the turn it doesn't mean that he is certain to be scared of the flush.
what he could be trying to do is check for deception and when he saw you then make a bet he might be thinking you have a flush but knowing he has the nut flush he only calls it then does a jam on the river thinking you will call a flush.
it is not certain that he has it but what we are sure of is he is probably ahead.

i think it is more likely AJ-AKs or possible suited connectors

He didn't jam the river (or even close).

I think he would just keep on barrelling with a FD that's my his flush on the turn. Pokey is a decent player that will more often than not be just going for the straight forward value route imo.

I think Larson is pretty spot on that he probably has some kinda 8x hand, maybe 88, 68, 78, 89

sorry about that I got a bit mixed up with the sizes of bets from nl4
with a bet like that it does look as thought he has the 8. was their a possibility of KQ being in his range still?

Over jam he is good enough to fold a straight there
