Hi all,

Apologies for this thread but I came second in a tournie and won a whole 7.80.

This is after nearly a fortnight of bad play, bad beats and bad luck.

Was just going to give up but mates on here kept me going and the 0.15 deepstack turned up trumps.

Perhaps I should stick to that as most of my wins have come at this time when everybody else tired.

Thanks to san3 for railing me this time and the messages of support when i have been really low.

Apologies again to you high rollers but it means so much

I know I am easily pleased

God bless you all

Good job, hope this is the end of your bad run.

I noticed you admitted you were playing bad.

Honest to god, if you keep at poker and become more proficient at the actual, I guarentee that the ability to evaluate oneself honestly will be invaluable.

    Congratulations Father!!!.

What's important here is the joy of the WIN and not the cost of the prize!

    Nice work xx

And this also answers the question of what the clergy do when they are creeping around in the middle of the night.

Well done V we all knew you had it in you, you just needed to avoid all the bad beats and get your confidence back. Glad to see you are restored and now look forward to hearing of many more of your accomplishments

    well done father ,

we all go through bad runs in poker ,

the best one can do with a  bad run is ,

try lose as little as possible / not tilt  ,

so i am happy your luck has turned for you,

    go get them fishes now,

and stun them with your wine bottle .

Thanks for the continued comments, they warm the cockels of an old priest's heart.

Alan, I toldya if you kept the faith you would comeback from your lowly pile and I was glad to see you did.

Shanker, I have just cracked open another bottle of the communion wine and have decided to share it with Apollo, TV and yourself , we could even have a deep stack between us to give us time to crack open some more bottles.

God bless you my children for your support

As for my Rock, Pillowman, how can you doubt me after the ear bashing you've had over the last week or so and you should know even this priest doen't tell lies.

And by the way leave Nutters mum out of this, the rumours are untrue, totally, well ok, erm confession time.....
