FWIW, I flatted the flop with intentions of getting it in on turn against storm, werent expecting stfc to call..nearly shuved thinking stfc had a draw or something or was stealing, in the end just folded lol

I might 4bet pre. After flatting pre we're behind on this flop SO often, I might flat the flop cos I'm a station though (we can probably fold) but once the flop raise comes in, you took the only good option by folding

if you're willing to get it on a AJx flop then just 4bet pre imo, as is i'd fold to the initial flop bet

Put it this way. If you're up against AA/KK preflop, it sucks. After a raise and reraise though, you can't put them on those specific hands. I think 4-betting pre is your best option for a couple of reasons- #1, your hand probably rates to be best now, but there are a stack of flops you're not liking. #2, if you hit a flop you DO like, your opponent probably can't come along for the ride unless he has you beat anyway.

Flatting pre isn't the worst move, but if you're against AA/KK you're going to do a lot of money on a J high or lower flop. If he has AK, you may well not get much more action unless he hits his A/K, at which point it's a problem for you.

There's dead money involved pre, so you shouldn't have any issues with 4-betting and getting a flip against AK, it's +EV with the money already in there.

As played, against 2 players as soon as I see an A on the flop and a bet I'm out of there. There's basically no hand that bets that board which we're beating, apart from the rare flush draw hands- and there's not an awful lot of those combos with the preflop action outside of KQs, maybe a loose 10-9 or something. And of course if you call and get reraised, it's a no brainer.
