Sky bets new reward systems replacing their old reward scheme (money off your sky bill reward) is place any £5 accumulator and get a £5 free bet

    This sounds perfect for me. Place an accumulator or 2 when the season starts and get a load of my golf bets paid for with free bets on Monday. (Do you get a free bet every £5 accumulator or is it 1 a week maximum)

    its awful for me. I rarely ever put acca's on and if I do its a quid on about 10 teams lol

    Flash sorry didn't read the T&C's as it's not a promotion that'll work for me at all.

    Sigh, I'll just have to live without getting a few quid of my sky bill every month :(

    How people think this is a good promotion is beyond me.Was deliberately waiting to see what the offer was before deciding whether to self exclude or not.Easy decision now.I placed in excess of 300 quids worth of bets today but as none was an acca I get f all.Where's the reward for loyalty there?

    yeah thats a good point jackda did you used to get bonuses etc? i very rarely bet online, feel like its monopoly money personally but this offer which would entice me has unfortunately done opposite for you. think ill start doing a treble on here every week for the football

    The way it was before suited me more tbh,do a tenner bet and get a stamp-5 stamps = a fiver.
    The problem was a lot of people(including myself on occasions)took advantage of this and placed tenner bets on 1/500 shots,1/1000,etc.
    Just feel that somebody placing a fiver bet is getting rewarded more than somebody placing 100's of pounds worth of bets just because they are doing the "right" bet.

    After phoning customer services I was told by a manager that the reason they have changed to this system is because they want to make it harder for the customer to win.So in other words it isn't a loyalty reward at all it's just a way to make more money(which I know it's a business,blah,blah....but don't call it a loyalty reward.

    having thought about the new scheme maybe it's not too bad after all.
     
    If you bet more than £5 a week anyway (which I do) then it basically works as a freeroll accumulator each week - I like it now lol I may be slow but I get there in the end!

    Whoever is head of promotions @ SkyBet needs firing. Having a mimimum odds of 5/1 to qualify is simply proposterous. How about the deal you were offering to new customers last year - a free £5 bet when you place a stake of £5 with odds of at least evens?
    Sky Bet may actually be thinking it will be more difficult to win but I'm almost sure this new 'Free Bet Scheme' will just discourage customers to play.

    I like the free offer because myself and my mates have a £5 acca on the football each week. So its two bites at the cherry for one stake, but I fully understand compared to other sites it is a feeble promotion.

    So like you, I don't understand the logic behind the promotion.
    With no best odds guaranteed races and early prices that are normally a couple of points worse than their competitors.
    I just can't see what they hope to achieve, pretty sure the majority of people who will gain, will be the weekly football punters.
    If sky want the big money punters who make a punt, single promotions for £5 acca's just wont get them excited! would be different if you could claim multiple free bets depending on stakes IMO

    Go F.e.c.k  youselves Sky. 

    I placed £22,432 in bets in last year and got back £17,634 plus lost about £400(9k staked) on poker and god knows how much on casino games. Started backing Hugh Taylor and Tom Segal tips + my own and now they offer me £1.25 on a 4/1 and maybe £10 on even money shot.

    ps. Not the place to air grievance i know  but who cares i'm away anyway. Well i shouldn't be surprised by these legalised criminals as they run by that evil Murdoch mob   LOL GL ALL

    Option 2. Place a £5 accumulator, get money back if you win, or lose it of you lose. But get a free £5 bet what ever the result.


    I'll take option 2 please, clearly some of you would rather have option 1. Can't give money away these days!
