Really late on parade here.
Annual T20 QF acca.
Last year I got 3/4 from the off, was absolutely nailed on for all 4 at the 3/4 mark of the 4th game, before it started going wrong and I had to lay it off for 3/4 of what I wud of won.
Successful bet!
Last year, I had £20 @ 7/1
This year, I have had £6 @ 21/1
That's how much closer the games are this year.
Will be brief....
Somerset v surrey (now) @ 4/5
Far too much firepower/experience with bat and ball, and just dynamite in this format. (unless it's the final)
Durham v Northants @ evens
Close call, more big occasion players in the Durham lineup, like Onions with the newball and Mustard opening the batting. More experience throughout the 11.
Notts v 11/8
tipped Essex from the start of the comp, power hitters 1-9.
Notts very strong and probably justify favouritism, think if the top 2 fail, they are vulnerable through the middle order though.
Fancy Essex to chase any score.
Hampshire v Lancs @ 6/4
Just gut instinct here. Hampshire rightly long odds on. Lancashire are pretty solid in every department thought, I don't think it's going to be as 1 sided as most expect. Pure gut feeling that Lancs could upset the odds.
