the villain I've hid seemed to like making his limps so could of had anything and if I had an A I would definitely have just went for the jam preflop. the problem I faced here was the short stack limper so I just wondered if he is another of those villians who can't resist a head prize. the biggest problem was my stack was the same size as his and the number of draws it could be so easy to think I was on one or had a very high card.

Depends on the format if it is a bh call if not you can fold as you are always behind here and may have a lot less out than you expect.

Well it's obviously a call against the short stack. Even against an overpair you have 31.8% and you only need 31% to call. With your chip stack and it being a bounty hunter you can afford to call here as well.

I don't think you need to shove though. I'd probably call and fold if the limper decides to shove; yes, he might want a bounty but he also needs some sort of hand to shove the flop. We have enough chips to call but then fold. If we had say; less than 6k then you probably need to make your decision on the flop and either shove or fold.
