River Hero (ish) Call

Villian is fairly loose pre, doesn't do anything too funky (most of the time) but is pretty aggro postflop. Definitely isn't the type to just check/fold a missed draw if he thinks he can nick the pot.

Confident he bluffs his missed FDs/straight draws, but do you think there are enough combos of these? I think he'd check back hands like TT/JJ if he's called down with them til now but bets some Qx, obv Kx, obv houses if he someone has one....

I just struggle with combinatronics with massive ranges.

If he's good you should probably be folding here. Bad players will just always bluff here if they have a missed draw whereas good players will realise that it's a pretty bad spot to bluff too often because none of the draws got there and you'll have a bluff catcher fairly often. Also depends on how wide you think villain will value bet. Without much info on villain I like to call here early on because the info gained will probably be pretty useful and the call itself is probably fine in a vacuum anyway.

FWIW, he had JTo but you all know I was good or it wouldn't be here, right?

But yeah obv just cos I was good doesn't mean it was a good call so just seeing what people thought.

Would never title this as a hero or hero-Ish call... I would just say its a shy te bet on the end, and a standard check call!
