Do you think we will be seeing the current hi stakes players who already play nlhe on here or do you think there will be a new breed of players dominating the bigger tables.

Absolutely no idea, but i'll be on the play money! If I get dizzy, and if its an option, might venture into 1p/2p! haha

Completely clueless! - I say that about alot of the NLHE oppos that beat me, so maybe it cud work for me!

That's a loaded question. We could get newbies to the site who solely play Omaha, but I could see someone like LadyFingrs being good at Omaha. It'll probably be a mix.

I cant wait for omaha! i think its great.

I think a fair amount of decent nlhe players will be good at it, but im pretty sure their will be new faces all for omaha.

I for one tho will not be touching hi/low....dont think i have enough headache pills in the house! lol

Hi-Lo Omaha will NOT be part of this Release.

    Why?

It's thought that over 90% of our regulars have never played Omaha before, so better that they learn "straight" Omaha before moving onto to Hi-Lo. The very concept of split pot games is quite difficult to master, so "one step at a time" was decided, & rightly so in my view. It's in nobody's interest for the Players to go broke playing a game they do not yet understand, so lets ease into Omaha nice & steady.

I belierve Hi-Lo will be included in the next Release. Which won't be very long.

Only played this a couple of times on another site. Not read about it at all, so before I play I will read some chapters from various books. This could be a profitable avenue to go down on Sky.

Most people should be able to transfer to omaha quite nicely as long as they remember simple rules.
    1) bigger hands are more likely so top pair top kicker is nigh on worthless. Alot more straights, flushes and houses will be out there.

    2) 2 i repeat 2 cards and only 2 cards are used from the hand.

    3) from point 2 getting dealt quads is an instant fold

4)If there are multiple straight and flush draws on the board then your opponent could be on ALL of them

    5) The nuts are only temporary in omaha due to the large number of drawing hands

    6) Most pots will be multiway to the flop because of the high number of playable starting hands

I have a very good idea that it will be the old skool that own any PLO MTT events in the early days.

Some well known names leap out Bennydip2,  Mere Novice and Tikay 10.....

I suspect that given the welcome bonus for new players a good number of PLO sharks will gather round the higher stakes cash tables pretty quickly.

The lowest stakes omaha cash game (2p/4p) is no limit? the lowest pot limit game is 5/10? is this right?
