In Response to Re: re :
Trying not to be rude, but radio silence makes it really hard!
Any chance of some post from the "suits"? We have seen posts from "skypoker" about prem freeroll/heads up cash etc but nothing about the numerous lobby issues over UKOPS.
Given UKOPS was on over the bank holiday weekend I would have thought key staff would have been in to deal with issues (and realise there was an issue with tournament set up and get a check in place after Friday which could have meant that the issues on Sunday didn't occur) but moving on from that point, assuming it wasn't important enough to get people in on the bank holiday Monday, I would have thought it would have been somewhere up the list on Tuesday's to do list?
On Friday there was issues with descriptions in sats that were brought to the attention of sky through the forum. This continued all weekend and we had the two mini's on Friday, and then the "3 max" issue and the £55bh payout issue on Sunday.
I didn't bother making a complaint to customer care as everyone who entered was in the same boat and I thought I would give time for sky to look into things and do an official announcement/resolution. Should I and everyone involved in the issues be putting a complaint to customer care? (Seems like a massive waste of everyone's (players and customer care) time when the problem is known!)
Mistakes happen in all walks of life, business included, how a business responds (both internally and the messages it gives to its customers) to the mistakes is key....over to you skypoker.

Let's try to keep this open guys, in other words let's not have any trolling or randomly non-coherent flaming and ranting. This could be a very good avenue for feedback and improvement etc.
The 3 max was 6 handed
Sunday nights side event (£55bh) payout structure was incorrect.
Satellites were set up with incorrect wording. Eg you win entry to the 8pm speed BH (the speed BH started at 10). This was confusing as players didn't know what tournament they were winning entry into.
As much as i'd like to play the £55 - £110 mtts, i'm nowhere near rolled enough to buy in to these.
I know there's always sats but i'd prefer to just buy in direct most of the time.
There seemed to be a big gap between mtt selection, either £2/£5 or £55/£110 and no selection inbetween.
I enjoyed playing the series but would of liked to of played more, just some feedback for next time, thanks.
Or a Heads Up mtt (as people see this game dying out)!!!!
Gl all at the tables
1. A SkyPoker-specific agent(s) with access to the Live Chat system, such that poker related queries can be passed and dealt with by someone with the appropriate knowledge. If this is not operationally possible (in terms of access), then a thread should be created for any issues that are known and in the process of being rectified such that the CS front-line operator can point the player to the forum. Perhaps issues like the 3-max being 6-handed will still not be known until after the tournament has started, but even something that indicates that the problem is known would help alleviate confusion and multiple posts on the same topic.
2. Staff with the appropriate access to amend tournament structures, lobby names etc. In a lot of cases the players will notice something is up a while before the start of a tournament, or in the case of the Satellite lobby descriptions the feedback can be taken and action implemented such that the errors don't creep through subsequent days across the weekend.
People being on holiday on the BH period doesn't really make sense to me if there is a significant promotion/activity planned, and would make more sense to pay key staff time and a half etc.
Hi guys
Apologies for the confusion this may have caused at the time.
We, like you, became aware of this once the event had started and been running for some time. We took the decision that, on this occasion, the best option was to let the tournament run its course. Stopping it half way through would likely have been more disruptive and been difficult to rearrange/communicate at short notice.
Our team here have obviously discussed how we can prevent this happening in future and additional checks have been put in place as a result.
Thanks for your understanding.
