Bearing in mind the headline for this discussion and it's not the fault of the four people who did register. Does anyone else think that those four should be compensated in some way?

Satellites and other small tournaments get cancelled all the time when there aren't enough runners, it happens many times per day. The buy-in gets returned, this is a total non-issue.

I thought they were only cancelled if they reached a maximum of 3 entrants

    Hi,

If a tournament doesn't reach the required minimum entrants, it will automatically be cancelled, not run, and those that registered will be un-registered and their buy-in returned.

    Regards
